I think I have a problem...

Well I am finished packing for my scrapbooking day. Yes I said day, or rather an afternoon, and I have 5 bags! I really need to learn how to downsize.... Plus I have a real problem collecting craft bags. Any tool I have, must have the co-ordinating bag. And this picture doesn't even show all my bags. I have the red large sizzix bag and 3 other scrapbook bags.

I am so sad.....
Oh well, I yam what I yam...
On to something cute! When I was at my upline's house last weekend I got a chance to cut out some shapes from the Sizzix Box 2. Here is the decorated box.

isn't adorable! I used rub-ons on the front and the sweet always paper and petal pizzaz stamp set to decorate this cute box. and it is really pretty large inside. I will be giving this one to the hostess of our scrapbook get together.

Designer Paper and Texturz Plates

Hi all,

On the Stampin up Demo website they showed us how to add additional texture to designer paper using the sizzix Texturz plates and a sanding block. So for today's tutorial I will be sharing the technique with you. These Texturz plates are great, and with 6 patterns for only $11.95 they are a great value too. Psst if you already own the cuttlebug...they do work in those too.

For the tutorial I will be using the Sale-a-bration Designer Paper, Delicate Dots and the Sale-a-bration stamp set Congrats. Don't have yours yet? Well don't wait to long! Sale-a-bration ends at the end of March.

New Stuff!

Hi All,

Well I finally received my order. I waited to place it on Feb 1st so I could get the free Sale-a-bration goodies :) But before I share my new stuff, I wanted to share a card I made this weekend. My husband's niece lost her great-grandmother last week. She was 104, and still very active. She would keep her own garden, cook and do charity work. She died peacefully in her sleep. I wanted to send her a sympathy card, and decided to use the sketch for this week at www.papercraftplanet.com. I used the Spring song set for the card. The colors I chose are not very subdued, but I wanted to celebrate her life.
On to the goodies! Here is my box. I got the rockability paper. It is glossy! Can't wait to play with it.

Of course I got the Big Shot texture plates. Can't wait to play!
Here is a close-up of some of my other new catty items. I got the Valet Ribbon, Jumbo neutral brads, Soho Hardware and the new textured paper Parisian breeze. It is extra thick and perfect for 3 D items. Well I'm off to play.

Enjoy

Jazzy Blog Candy time

Hi All,

This weeks Jazzy Inspiration Challenge was a color challenge: old olive, kraft and basic black. Here is the inspiration piece.
This color combo was a challenge for me. But then I remembered that I had received Wild About You in a trade, and I figured the alligator from this set would be perfect for this color combo.

Head on over to Jazzy Inspirations to try out the challenge. If you become the Jazzy Cat of the week you will win this weeks Blog Candy!
