Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day All!
I wanted to share with you the cards I made for my Mom and Mother-in-law. These cards were made using the Sweet always designer paper. Each card takes 1/2 a sheet of designer paper, 6 x12. I then score every three inches to make 4 panels. the two outside panels fold in to make pockets. Here is a picture of the outside of one of the cards with the envelopes which I lined with matching designer paper. I used belly bands to keep the cards closed.
The second pocket is made by cutting the right outside flap in half and then using the extra large circle punch to make a notch. I can then slide money into this pocket. Unfortunately our money is a little longer then 6 inches, so I just folded one end of the money down to stick it into the pocket.
Ok one more project. This is a Chipboard sign I made for my kitchen. It has been up on the shelf for this month. I used the Sizzix Scallop Circle and the Serif Essential Alphabet to cut out my Chipboard and Designer Paper. I also used the Birds and Branches strip Die for Decoration.
Hope you enjoyed these projects. And remember the designer papers I used on these projects are on sale this month! Buy 3 packs get one free. You can mix and match the designer paper with the 12×12 Textured card stock. This is a great sale for scrapbookers and card makers!
Enjoy your Sunday!
