It's Reveal time again

Hi All,
Well it is time for me to reveal myself to my secret sister on Splitcoaststampers. I am part of the Demo Secret Sister Group.
Since Rub ons are on special this month, I decided to use rub-ons on her project.
I used Stampin Up!'s Hidden Garden Rub on's. These are beautiful, and they match the Eastern Blooms set. Trust me, you are going to WANT these rub ons.
I got a special version of these rub ons at Conventioin. So I had multiples of the same designs. The rub on come in Chocolate Chip and White.

These are very quick and easy cards. The sentiments are the only stamping! All of the cuts are straight cuts and then I used the square and scallop square for accents. My base card is Chocolate Chip, and my accent color is Kiwi Kiss. I also used pieces of the Hawaiian Papaya paper.

To package my cards I made a little slide box. It is made of a drawer and a wrap around cover. And of course I decorated the cover with Chipboard, which I covered in designer paper.

Thanks for stopping by.

Stampin up Books

Hi All,

Before I show you today's tutorial, I wanted to share with you a scrapbook I made for my husband. My upline made this adorable paperbag book that had graduated pages. I loved the idea, but didn't want to use paper bags, so instead I cut paper 1/2 an inch longer then the previous. So my first page/cover is 6 by 6, then the next page is 6 by 6.5 and so on.

I used the Hawaii Papaya paper was my inspiration. Here is the cover of the book.

Here are a few of the inside pages.

Ok, now on to today's tutorial, Wish List books! Since Christmas is around the corner I wanted to make little books that my son and niece could use to record all of the things they are hoping to get for Christmas.
My Book size is 4 inches by 6 inches. So I cut two pieces of red paper to 4 inches by 6 inches And then I cut 3 pieces of whisper white paper to 4 inches by 6inches.
Next I used my retired Just Journaling stamp to stamp the whisper white paper on both sides. I could have just printed the lines on the computer and then cut the paper down to size.

I then scored each of the papers at one inch a cross the long way.

I then stamped the inside pages with a snowflake stamp.

I then cut a piece of whisper white paper to 3 inches by 4 inches. Decorated it and then layred it on top of a piece of paper 3.25 x 4.25

I took a piece of decorative paper and cut it to 2 inches by 4 inches.
I then scored it at the one inch line across the short side.

I assembled the cover pages and the whisper white together and then wrapped the deocrative paper around the scored side.

I then used my crop a dile to make two holes through the side with the decorative paper wrapped around.

I then used my crop a dile to set two large brads through the holes I had just made.

This is what the brad will look like on the back side once it is set.

To make it prettier I put another large brad through through the other side to get a nice finished look. I stuck the brad into the other through the back side and then set it

I then attached my decorated panel on the front. And tied ribbon through the large brads.
This is an example using a pieced of the retired Christmas paper from last year.
And here is a verison using the new Ski Slope decorative paper from this year, along with the riding hood red paper.
Hope you enjoed this weeks tutorial.
